Any guesses?

These are Spiny Leaf insect eggs. Spiny leaf insects are a type of stick insect - but one that looks a bit like a Sherman tank! The females can get around 8 inches long- and and reach around 25 - 30 grams. They are about an inch in width. They are very cool and make great pets. They like to sit and crawl up your arm, like something out of an alien movie. The eggs can take up to 2 years to hatch, and the nymphs look like red headed ants (they hide in ants nests). We have just got these eggs from a friends cage, while we’re round their house for a BBQ. There earing is for size comparison.
