Did no one see the Irony

Unlock your fitness, but not here.
About a dozen of these notices have been placed on the metre high fence round the local running track. The track was regularley used by local athletes for training, even when the indoor facilities were closed. Increasingly these notices are being  ignored as an empty threat. Today  there were half a dozen runners who had simply jumped the fence.
To add to the stupidity, the track is in a public open space with a wide footpath all around it.
