Rob's new desk

Rob has an office in the studio in the garden but over the winter he based himself in the house on the landing and it saved us heating the studio. The only problem was that the desk and chair were not Rob sized and he was noticing the impact on his back. So, 5 adjustable legs later and an oak kitchen top and a new chair and he is comfortable to work here on days he doesn't want to use the studio.

The good thing about the studio is that it stays very cool even on hot days. It was the telephone exchange for the village back in the 30s and has very thick walls so I am sure he will be back out there in the summer. We are very lucky to have the space and I do feel we use every room.

I should point out that the cream wall will be white soon, we will do it at the same time as we paint the hall. There is a purple wall too, where I am standing.
