Amazing mail

The postman delivered this today. I couldn't think what it might be, something extremely delicate inside a polystyrene box. What on earth?
It turned out to be half a dozen fresh laid eggs, sent by my chicken keeping friend down in rural Kent. By a miracle, they were all intact! Thank you Martin, and well done Royal Mail.
Like the rest of us, his chickens are currently in lockdown. Not for covid though, but because of an outbreak of avian bird flu somewhere else in the country.
