Flotterstone

What was to have been a walk in the Pentlands turned out to be a wade through mud up a steep path that led us back to the main road - nothing for it but return the way we had come. It might have been a shorter walk than usual but it was hard going and, to my mind, still counts as a workout.

We don't mind mud and washed the worst off our boots in the sparkling Glencorse Burn before abandoning the walk for coffee and a stroll round the garden centre.
