A Legal-Illegal Beach Walk

Mr M and I have been very good during this lockdown and restricted our walking to local walks from our doorstep, which has meant no beach walks for us.
We were hoping for a relaxation to these rules last Friday when the Welsh First Minister reviewed the rules - but no such luck, even though our infection rates are now down to 67 in 100,000! So we’re stuck with these restrictions for at least another three weeks now.
However, we had to travel to the hospital in Swansea this morning for my blood tests, prior to my treatment starting on Tuesday.
The hospital happens to be opposite the beach, so with legal travel to Swansea Bay came the opportunity for an ‘illegal’ coastal walk - we were already there, so surely that must be ok??!
It was so nice to walk on the sand, enjoy the views (through the drizzle) and breathe in the sea air. It also seemed a good idea to support the beach cafe by buying a coffee :)
We’ll be travelling to Swansea regularly from now on so more opportunities will present themselves.
