Things To Make And Do

This week, we are mostly eating spuds, as we have acquired rather a lot of them due to a mix up with the shopping order - my fault not Tesco's on this occasion. Anyway this is no great hardship for me as they are easily my favourite carb, and I say that as someone who is no slouch in the bread-consumption department either. 

Tonight's tasty tuberous teatime treat is sliced potatoes in layers with cheese and onions. I suppose it's what you'd call a gratin really, but I never have as it was always just called cheesy potatoes when I was growing up. 

In other spud news, my Charlotte seed potatoes arrived and are now in the conservatory to chit.
