European Greenfinches ??

When will I remember my binoculars.? This tree is  well over 50 foot and in the back gardens of where I live .Nearly home many birds all very busy were spotted flitting around the top branches. Had to almost max the zoom ( never a good thing ) The greenish colour and forked tail are proof I'm no Ms Marple with small birds...So any avian Sherlocks please correct or confirm .A glorious 17°c day it was wonderful to go out minus a heavy coat or jacket..
*The Ice Cream Parlour opened and was doing good trade ..
