Last run

Always great to get away down the coast for a few days, but this trip’s a bit unusual ‘cos it’s the last time we use our lovely little 13’ caravan George - with air con, toilet and shower, kitchen, fridge/freezer, solar panel and comfy bed - before we put it on the market.
Had it for over 3 years, and what a ride it’s been: all over the eastern states from the Great Ocean Roaf, up the entire coast of New South Wales and on to the far north of Queensland. Right up the centre from Adelaide to Darwin via Alice Springs in the Northern Territory; Across the deserts of the Nullarbor Plains to the south-west of West Australia, up the coast via Perth to Geraldton, and then inland heading south east through the desert flowers to return across the Nullarbor.
Didn’t miss a beat the entire time apart from a busted window (my bad) and a couple of blown out tyres.
But ‘tho relatively fit, well and healthy, ageing bones and creaky backs suggest it’s time for a gentler form of travel.
George will be sorely missed, but here’s looking at a new life chapter
