Whixall

Whixall Moss is one of Britain's biggest and best raised bogs. It gets Merlins, Hobbies, Cuckoo etc etc over the summer when they feast on the mass of insects and dragonflies.

They have been chopping down thousands of birch and pine over the last few years which has annoyed a lot of people but as seen here the water is beginning to pool which is going to be great for birdlife
