Sunday Walk

Jules and I went for a walk / hike this sunny Sunday afternoon. We walked the perimeter of the gliding club airfield along the bridal way, pilgrims way and back up the bridal way through the woods.

It was a mild day at 13C and lovely to see the sunshine. We both struggled with the hill and said how we feel out of condition!

Enjoyed trying the dynamite marmite and hot cross bun with several cups of tea on my return.

This evening I spent two hours on the phone to my friend Helen having a long catch up. We are both a bit sad after an aviation friend passed away yesterday. He lost a long battle with cancer. Enjoyed sharing our memories.
