Nice idea to raise money for our local library

This is outside Otto’s our local grocery/ delicatessen store in Germantown. One of the customers gave a lot of her books to raise money for the library. I pounced a number about the Silk Road.
We took our coffee up to Olana for our favourite view over the Hudson. The River frozen over other a small channel cut by the ice breaker. The Hudson is a tidal River flowing downstream to NYC yesterday when we looked.
Another day of viewing movies for Deb’s voting. “Nomadland” with Frances McDormad was simply beautiful. Moving, sad , and a wonderful cast of non actors who were simply so truthful as people she met on her journey.
Also saw about 4 others including “Hillbilly Eulogy” with Glen Close playing ancient grandma.
We are waiting for more snow today, hopefully not too much, and then a weather change for the better. Can’t wait!
