Working with some nice people at the moment, including Mike here.

His right eye has a massive sensitivity to flash lighting and whenever I had the flash metered to how I wanted to light this shot, his right eye reacted and almost closed. Amazing to see. So I had to delay the flash by two thirds of a stop so that I could 'beat' his reaction. It was quite educational for me, and although it's not perfectly open, he admitted it was as good as he had seen, in terms of actually being able to see his eyes!
