Cold Platter

Monday's evening meal is generally a cold platter of meats & cheese accompanied by various tracklements.  The 'habit' stems from the days when Sunday was the day for a roast joint and then Monday (and the rest of the week) was when the 'leftovers' were eaten.
Nowadays we tend to add such delights as garlic sausage, salami and pastrami to the platter.
