Clearbrook

This is the village of Clearbrook. It's only a short distance from home and  and a good base for walking and cycling. Walking always feels more satisfying if you follow a circular route. Within a short distance here you can walk a circular route that includes open moorland, green fields, oak woodland, a lane beside a river and a village, which has a pub, when it is open! There is also a disused tramway, a historic building where horses that worked the tramway were stabled, and a leat that once supplied water to the City of Plymouth. In the distance you can see the high land and the tors of Dartmoor. Add to all this some warm spring sunshine and you have the recipe for a very pleasant walk!
