Trippy Aluminium

Tricky more like. A job I was hoping to do at work the other day (see Thursday's blip) ended up being more elbow grease than machining. Filing a 17mm x 17mm square hole out of some 16mm aluminium plate is not my idea of fun. Nevertheless, it was a job that needed doing since the garage doors had a good half inch taken off due to the new driveway causing them not to open properly. This of course made the doors rather rattly when shut due to the resulting gap (see extra). Managed to sort out another piece of aluminum to hold the door open. After much drilling, filing and riveting issue solved. Yay.
