Another day goes by

Hold on tight, help is coming

After a very busy day in work it was time to relax and watch a bit of rugby. There has been a lot said about the Dragons lately. and most of that was by so called supporters. Criticism is always justified in my opinion, but if you have nothing constructive to say, then shut up. When someone is down, you don't slag them off constantly. You may have a moan, but then it should be quickly followed by support and encouragement. We all know the Dragons are having a hard time of it, little money, lack of resources etc. but if you are a fan, a true fan, you will turn up week in week out and offer that support, that encouragement to inspire them to do great things.

I am a Dragons and Newport fan, and of late they are both suffering with many defeats. But as a true fan, i always put the bad behind me and look for the good.

Anyway, tonight was a much better effort, there was more passion, more fire. Although the result was not what we wanted. Leinster are a very good side as we know and they showed that very early on with 2 tries. But our heads didnt drop, we fought back. It seamed that the yellow we received late into the first half was the best thing to have happened, our team gelled as a unit and started to work together.

We did still lose in the end, but we did pick up a bonus point, a well deserved one in my opinion. Final score Dragons 19 Leinster 26

Tonights image is of Jonny Evans holding on to Fergus McFadden, with Steffan Jones and Lewis Evans coming in to help. Taken from the side lines, it appears I am destined not to make the field again, with my camera that is, lol.
