What Do I See

Well Done Gents

A little while back I blipped the old Jessops shop in Bicester. The guys that ran it had decided to take it on themselves and managed to negotiate with the administrators, landlords etc to take on the shop and the fittings. Since then they have been working away quietly to get things going.

The shop opened to a provincial hurrah today. The mayor, local MP and a locally based celebrity joined in the ribbon cutting and opening of the shop.

They aren't aiming to ape what Jessops did, and are planning on focusing mainly on photo printing services, certainly in the immediate future. They have a range of compact cameras, and some SLR based goodies too. Just my luck the one circular polariser filter size they didn't have was mine! Kood filters and tripods and the obligatory batteries and memory cards.

Personally, I have great admiration for anyone who steps out on their own and starts a business. I really do hope they are successful. Good Luck Robert, Ian and Paul!
