Real or not?

I bought this plant and pot together for the knockdown price of only 87p.
However, when I got it home and looked closely I thought it was plastic, even though I’d picked it up in the garden section of the supermarket. I was pretty miffed to think I’d been ‘had’ but son pointed out it was in soil and had roots!
I’ve heard of faux plants looking like the real thing but never of real plants looking artificial.
