Today's weather.

Before I opened the curtains,I knew that it was a beautiful sunny day, but didn't expect to see huge drops o rain streaming down the window in the sunshine. There was sun and rain at intervals all morning. At lunchtime,I was by the door to the balcony and saw the strong wind detach the cover and thermometer from my spotted beetle.The rain had ceased, but the force of the the wind was so great, that I could barely open the balcony door. I rescued the bits and left things until later !!!
