A Georgian estate - Osterley

L3 Day66 A nice walk with a friend at Osterley around the park and the gardens of Osterley House. ( The house is in the distance in the blip) The house, built in the 18th century by Robert Adam, was taken over by the National Trust in 1991 and has gradually been restored to how it would have been in about 1780. The formal gardens now have well kept herbaceous borders and there are many interesting, and very old trees. Lovely to see the sun and lots of spring flowers......daffodils, crocuses and a type of Acacia.
