Walk On The Wild Side

Well, a little trepidation anyway as I went out on the snow covered lake, hoping the ice was as thick as it seemed. Even so I didn't venture far. There was no one else about, unusually. But it did allow a view from a different perspective.

I bracketed the exposure, but even so the sun is brighter than I wanted in the image. Tough to judge when taking the shot. The light coming through the trees brightened the snow in the foreground a touch, which I liked.
