Mergansers

Osuzanna visited this park recently, which put it back on my radar.  I was returning home from receiving my first Covid vaccine dose at a Maryland mass vaccination site (yay!), and was driving right by the exit.  I'm glad I stopped, for although the pathway was muddy, the sky was blue and the temperature was moderate.  I spotted a kingfisher, blue heron, mallards, nuthatches, cardinals, woodpeckers and a group of mergansers.
