Stunnng Evening

I had a slow trip to Akaroa as there was so much traffic on the road. When I arrived in Akaroa I found out that they and a festival on. That is why it was so busy on the roads.

When I got out of my car it felt like I was walking into a oven as it was so hot. My car was reading 33c and it felt even hotter than that.

The garden was so dry but I had to wait until the sun set to water the garden .. by hand as there is still a hand hold only watering notice still on.

You can see in this shot what a beautiful evening it was. It did cool down in the evening .. which was good. Christchurch only had 25c.
