Priory

This is the Priory in Bridlington. This year is its 900th birthday and is holding various different workshops through out the year I am attending two of them one is a Photographers class and textile workshop.
The Priory is on the site of an Augustinian Priory founded in 1113 which was dissolved during the dissolution of the monasteries. It has a mention in the Doomsday Book and it is also said that the monks of the Priory paid off William Wallace not to sack it. It is an amazing structure inside and out and is a dominant building in the town.
Its almost the weekend now so have a good one.
