Off and On

Yesterday we noticed two workmen on this roof removing a tarpaulin. We commented it was lucky they had it on as it had bucketed down so heavily during the night it woke us up.
Today dawned bright and clear but a couple of hours late the downpour returned. Only one bloke this time, but he was desperately trying to replace the cover.
It was a long way off to see properly but he didn't seem to have any safely equipment on. I felt dizzy just watching.
