Female Goosander

Spotted this gorgeous goosander this morning in one of the lochs at Mugdock Country Park, there was a male nearby too but I love the female’s spiky ginger ‘haircut’!
Goosanders, otherwise known as Merganser, are diving ducks with long serrated bills used for catching fish.
