Worthington Lake

A lovely walk around Worthington Lakes on a blue sky, fluffy cloud sort of day. Still chilly but refreshing to have some sunshine.

Worthington Lakes is a series of three reservoirs in Lancashire close to nearby Standish. They were constructed in the early 1860s to provide the clean water required by the rapidly growing town of Wigan.
