A Study in Scarlet

I went down to the river today - for the first time this year. I was hoping to see a few birds to add to my year list, but only managed one, a Grey Wagtail. However, my main objective was to see if the Scarlet Elfcups were still fruiting. I was not disappointed on this front, and there were several large clusters. Spectacular!
