Bird on stick

Walking back from town this afternoon I spotted the ultimate camera-club cliché - Bird on Stick.

I was a little far away, so you get an awful lot of stick and not a huge amount of bird here!

Really liked the silhouette the Heron created as it was basking in the sunlight with its wings open. Even spotted a water by the rive on my way back too. How I wished I'd got my big camera with me!
