Awake

The tortoises are all awake and raring to go! They are enjoying warm baths in the sunshine this week as hibernation can make them a little dehydrated. Some enjoy bath time more than others!

These two are entering their third year and are marginated tortoises. They are slightly paler in colour than the Herman’s tortoises. The marginated tortoise is native to Italy and Greece and is the largest European tortoise.
