Oleander

There are a lot of Oleander shrubs in flower around town at present. I pass this one particular shrub as I walk with Maisie to the river for our walk. The pink Oleander flowers are beautiful and they have a lovely subtle fragrance. However I have never planted one in any garden of ours as I am aware that all parts of the plant are extremely toxic to humans and animals. So I have always admired the flowers from a distance.
