What a cock up

It was a beautiful morning so Dog and I went for an extended walk over fairly dry fields by the river. Took many photos, many of which were interesting enough to be posted here. My choice was governed by the effect of bright sunlight on the wearthervane's gilding.
In case you are interested the weathervane is 62.5 metres above ground level and I was standing 380 metres away when I took the photo. I love a long zoom as it saves a lot of walking.
