I had an image in mind for today having seen an abundance of purple crocuses in a front garden on my borrowed doggy walk...arrived at the destination and there were people in said garden foiling my plan. 

Snowdrops locally are looking very tired and the daffodils aren't quite there yet. Luckily I had supermarket tulips on standby!
