Red Hot

A few weeks back there was a power cut lasting several hours on the far side of Edinburgh.  Then a big one in Texas.  I was thinking about what we could do in the event of a prolonged powercut, and we've got quite a few bits and pieces from camping for lighting and cooking, but nothing for heat.  So I bought a radiant heater to go on top of a camping stove.  I gave it a quick try out earlier, and it's quite effective.  Oh, and I bought a CO monitor too...  Can't be too careful!
