Ducks In A Row

In the latest episode of Lakeside there are lots more mallard drakes than ducks present and there's plenty of quacking, squabbling and flightiness. This duck appears to have her drake suitors in a row. The odd bird, a white hybrid, is still hanging around. The pair of Canada geese look on calmly and the lone dabchick (little grebe) whinnies wistfully. The mirror carp are starting to swim up to the surface.
