Abandoned shoe, new moon....

There could be many possibilities with this combination.  A good scene for a detective story.  The new moon was on the 10th  February last so some time ago.

N and I went down for some sea air to West Bay this afternoon and walked along the promenade to the end.  The landslides on the cliffs are much in evidence after all the rain and there are obviously more to come as large rocks are now appearing under the turf at the top without much support from below.  Parts of the coastal path are closed all along the Jurassic coast line.  There were barriers preventing people continuing along the way and a local woman was absolutely furious as people were taking not the slightest bit of notice and this is when accidents can happen.

The high-heel had been placed on the back of the boat New Moon near the slipway to the harbour.
