Steven brought Alfie and Charlie to visit this morning, much to Luna's delight.   Alfie has made one of the flower beds for me, small enough that I can extend it but not too big to be unmanageable.    Now I need to start sowing the seeds of the flowers that Maddie has chosen, that could be one of my jobs tomorrow.    I also asked Alfie if he could check one of the nest boxes to make sure there was nothing untoward inside as the birds have been overwintering in it but seem to be ignoring it for making a nest.    Nothing was in there, fortunately.   As he climbed up to inspect it Luna tried to follow suit, fortunately her legs aren't long enough !!.
