Un chevalier décapite un roi

Sometimes French is fairly similar to English.

Today I met up with Tara to go to the Musée de Cluny which is a Medieval museum. It was really interesting and it's amazing how well some things have been preserved. It's also incredible how intricate many of the items were considering everything would have been made by hand. We counted five tiny figures in the space about the size of a penny. The museum itself is in a really nice old building.

Post-museum we wandered round St Michel and after seeing so many restaurants offering a 3 course meal for 10? we caved and went in. French onion soup followed by spaghetti carbonara and a chocolate mousse. Needless to say I won't be eating again today.
