Long Walk

A neighbour and I did a long old walk today - walking from home to Palmers Green to Ally Pally along the New River, to Highgate, through Highgate Woods and Queens Wood, picking up the Forest Walk and into Finsbury Park and then home.

I loved it. A beautiful day. No rush. No agendas. Easy constant chatter. All new to me.

Because of the dogs, we don’t walk into London. We always walk out. So this was a real joyful experience and she’ll invite me again.

Our daughters went to Secondary School together, and are now at university together. Unbeknown to us, they were together later today too.
