Barnstaple

Sunshine all day - fabulous.  Went to the Library square and enjoyed a take away coffee with a friend - socially distanced on different benches we enjoyed an hour in the sunshine!
The Mound is Barnstaple's surviving Motte. It is alongside the Library newly built in the 1980's.  It has this lovely walkway  on the Motte side - giving wonderful shadows today!
After the coffee break I did some weeding and then washed the car. Exhausting as I don't do that that often! 
Clothes were out on the line and nearly dry by the time I brought them In - just a couple of hours airing and they will be ready to iron...probably tomorrow now!
