A foggy frosty morning

...with the promise of sunshine later (which was fulfilled). We have fields at the back of our garden and I had a gate put in the fence in order to gain access.

It turned out to be a good day for gardening and I pressed on with pruning: apple trees and roses today: in the case of the latter, rather a case of semi-educated guesswork.
