Wombling

What a lovely day. This morning we joined a group from the local volunteer litter picking group (the Aylesbury Wombles) for a socially distanced litter pick in a nearby village. In an hour and a half, 1/2 mile of road generated 91 bags of litter weighing 706kg plus a collection of bits of car, bicycle parts and other heavy items. Very satisfying.

This afternoon we made the most of the warm weather and tacked pruning the buddleja shrubs in the front garden amongst other garden tasks.

This evening we’ve joined the girls and their boyfriends for an online Game of Thrones quiz. They were better than us as expected.
