Joey and Ellis

Today I fed Joey a deworming pill and boy did he not take well to this particular pill... He threw up at least seven times. At first, we didn’t really know what was wrong but we noticed he wasn’t well and it seemed he couldn’t find a spot to just lay and sleep. Once he had thrown up we thought he would be better but it took quite a bit more. After the last one, he fell asleep on the couch and whatever we did it was all ok to him as long as we just let him sleep. After an hour or so, he was awake again and much more active.

This photo was taken when he was starting to feel uncomfortable. Fortunately he’s looking a lot happier now. We will try something different for deworming next time...
