Tansley, Derbyshire

Dedication to my niece Jessica #9. She was in hospital again yesterday for another attempt to reduce the pain.

A wonderful day with more than a hint of spring. The first long walk for some time did a world of good, even though the sunshine and fresh air gave me a headache for a while on getting back home. A fine walk visited the villages of Brackenfield, Wessington, Wheatcroft, Lea, Riber and Tansley on the eastern slopes outside the Peak District National Park. This view overlooking Tansley especially caught my eye. It is spoiled rather by such a busy road from Matlock, otherwise in a great setting.
