Coastline

After dropping things off at the library, we took a bus up to the terminus at Rothéneuf and then set of on the coastal path to walk back home. The coastal path was like a zoo, so it wasn't a nice walk, we were constantly bumping into people who don't know how to walk properly in single file over rough terrain. It was far too busy to not wear a mask, so misted up glasses are not a safe thing on that kind of terrain... It was nice though...

Eventually we got to the end of the rocky section at Pointe de la Varde, where I took this picture looking towards Saint-Malo... From here it was only a short walk and we were on the Plage du pont, and once on the beach we could walk all the way to town with plenty of space as the see was a long way out today.

It was sunny and you could feel the heat from the sun, but there was a constant cold breeze, so it wasn't warm enough to wear short trousers or pants, but very nice if you were sheltered from the breeze and in the sun.

After our usual Saturday dinner we watched the Saturday night TV detective store on France 3. It was okay, and the subtitles helped, but it wasn't the most exciting detective story I've ever seen... We then watched some puppies and kittens on the SPA adopt a pet show on C8... Always saddening what people will do to animals, but uplifting that some people care.
