Karame

I took a day off work to take advantage of a very low tide, and traverse the seabed to 'Seymour Tower' with friends M and A and Poppy the dog. It was a fine day and we had plenty of time so decided to go further, out to Karame Beacon. It's difficult terrain with water filled gullies, rocks and slippy seaweed, but we made it. Two miles offshore.

Bottom right of collage was taken from the beacon (once I'd climbed up there) - you can just see the tower in the distance, then land beyond it - which gives an idea of the distance between the two landmarks and the shore.

I think without a doubt, I will sleep well tonight!
