Field of light

Mono Monday excursion to Hatley Castle. Photos of the castle itself catching the light with surrounding grounds in shadow were OK but I ended up choosing this wild field, surrounded by shadow but with sunshine and light at the heart. Somehow reminded me a bit of a Corot painting....
