Driving home

While working in the bush is nice as you feel far away from it all there are some drawbacks.

This morning I finished work at 0630 (only had about an hour's work to get done) we set off driving and and 4.5 hours later arrived in Kalgoorlie. Did some shopping for lunch and supplies for next swing, then off to the airport.

Flight was at 1420 but was late. Got into Perth at about 1600, caught the bus but got off at the wrong stop when changing busses. Currently on the last bus of the day it's 1730 and almost home, can't wait to have a shower.

Yet another reminder WA is massive, I wasn't even half way across the state.
