Fallen...

...tulip petals.

Spoiled by a few days with a blue sky, I had planned to Blip the crocuses in the 'yard, hoping that they would raise their faces to the sun during the brief period that it shines over the wall at this time of year. But it was not to be, as the sun failed to put in an appearance at all, and the crocus flowers remained tightly closed. This is something of an emergency Blip!

A very quiet sort of day. Made a big pan of French lentil soup, caught up with some housework, tackled some admin., amended an online supermarket order, practised a couple of tunes on the mandolin, and that was about it.

In the evening, MrM and I decided that we'd resume watching Spiral, as it's been recommended by several friends recently. Then we realised that the series we'd watched on TV some months ago wasn't series 1 at all. So we're starting again from the very beginning... not surprisingly, the cast all look very young!
